Indian Golden Oriole @Okhla Bird Sanctuary


The summers arrived and so is the Indian Golden oriole in the Okhla Bird Park.

The Mangoe Bird or Indian Oriole, though a permanent resident,is abundant in seasons from about the time the mango trees begin to bloom to the end of September. It can be easily soptted in gardens, avenues, mangoe topes, and is frequently seen in open country, taking long flights between trees, principally the banian and others.
