On road birding in Bihar


Recently visited Bihar and travelled to Nalnada, Rajgir and Pawapuri. During my trip i did not get any chance for exclusive birding but i paid attention to birds which i can spot roadside while travelling in rural areas. To my surprise, i was able to spot many birdds including
Drongos, Indian Roller and Asian Openbill, Pheasant tailed Jacana. Some birds i can not identify and still trying to find out names…Below are some photographs-

    pied wagtail, black winged kite.. good to see the post, i am searching places around bihar to do birding.

    I went to Kanwar lake last time. It’s really promising. One of this largest lakes has an excellent view.. and locals say that Sarus Crane come in winter around Dec.
