Mlilwane Game Park (Swaziland): Birding


Mlilwane (means little fire) Game Park is managed by a trust, and it covers an area of around 4500 Hectares. Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary presents unique opportunity to see the Zebras from close that you will get temted to touch them. Prak charges an entry fee of around 30 Rands and one can use her/his own vehicle to travel inside the sanctuary. Abundant wildlife can be spotted in the plain. mlilwane is very rich in birds and one can hear and spot various varieties of birds. Check list of birds can be downloaded from the following link-

There are specialist guides available in Mlilwane for birding and hey charge around 170 Rands (as on March 2013). my visit to Mlilwane was ended with thrill when 2 Shelleys Francolin started walking graciously towards our car-
