During last five years i am frequently visiting Bhopal, but never got chance to visit the beautiful Van Vihar National Park which is situated in the heart of city along with big lake. This time stolen some time from busy schedule in morning and visited the van Vihar National Park. Van Vihar National Park was declared in 1983 with an approx area of 4.45 sq KM.
The animals are kept in almost natural environments here. The park is located along with bada taal in bhopal. The biggest attraction for me was the various birds in the park. As i entered in the park, there were several indian spotbilled ducks swimming in the big lake. As i traveled alongwith the road, i spotted-
